"A little letterpress" : The Pocket Press
A designer based in Copenhagen and Denmark, Ishac Bertran transforms everyday objects in order to explore the possibilities for interaction between humans and the environment. Making use of his signature design motif — salvaged materials — Bertran has developed a small, traditional printing system. It uses three blocks of mahogany wood, a few pieces of copper some rods of brass (recovered from screwdrivers), and a wheel from a tape recorder. An amusing concept, producing a pocket-sized pieces.
