Bit.code: Julius Popp's New Hybrid Structure
German artist Julius Popp often uses digital technologies to create hybrid structures, between scientific projects and artistic installations. With “Bit.code,” he’s designed an evolving wall of pixels which can be manipulated via a computer to build forms and symbols out of a chaotic ensemble. The project’s chains of binary code, displayed in black and white, allow for an infinite number of combinations.
