A new range of 25 greeting cards that turn into playful figures, Fold + Play is the latest edition of self-initiated greeting cards by Designers Anonymous, a London-based, multi-disciplinary design collective whose paper toy aeroplanes sell in Tate Modern’s gift shop. These latest, light-weight offerings bear the hallmarks of an ingenious visual approach to design; no scissors or glue required. A card that turns into a gift is an economic cut that brings a smile to one’s face; the complete range folding follies can be seen here.
