In advance of its August UK theatrical release, here’s the trailer for what looks to be the definitive bio-pic of the twentieth century’s most influential design-duo, Charles and Rae Eames. The filmakers were given unprecedented access to the Eames’s studio warehouse in Venice, California and archive. With interviews, miles of unseen footage and narration by James Franco (a big fan), this film should provide even the most erudite scholar with something new to chew on.
