Paul Crump recently graduated from London College of Communication with a degree in graphic and media design – as well as completing an internship with Alexander McQueen’s print department. We were impressed by the clean, accomplished finish of his work, and by his experimentation with a variety of print and production processes. Stand-out projects include a series of posters exploring the death of cockney rhyming slang, and a collection of screen-printed aluminium sheets that celebrate the visual language of WWII aeroplane nose-cone art. Paul’s currently working as an intern at Why Not Associates, and if his work’s anything to go by, he’s certainly benefited from the experience of working within a commercial design environment whilst completing his studies.
