Since graduating from the University of Brighton, Kyle Bean has been making editorial illustrations and constructing objects for many commercial and personal projects. A dab hand with a scalpel, Bean’s cleverness has been applied to a disparate array of materials; jelly, egg shells, bendy straws and motorcycle parts have all been pressed into service. An adherent of the “less is more” approach, his uncluttered aesthetic ensures direct but playful illustrations. His creations have been brought to life through the magic of the moving image, most notably his art directed and designed broadcast animation for Citroen. Other clients include, Liberty, Penguin Books and Diesel.
