Have you picked up your tickets to Pick Me Up yet? London’s only dedicated graphic arts fair returns this month for a second outing, following a rip-roaringly successful first fair in 2010. This time around, the artist in residence in Somerset House’s Embankment Gallery will be Anthony Burrill, who’ll set up his studio within the space and allow visitors to get a first-hand glimpse into his working process. The fair will also showcase the work of 24 rising stars of the graphic arts world, including McBess, Tom Gauld and The MVM (who’ll be featured in Profile in Grafik 189) and a whole host of collectives and exhibitors will be on hand to show and sell their lovely work. It’s sure to be a springtime treat – see you there.
