Innovations in bookmarking
March 1st is World Book Day, and to mark the occasion, we present a recent innovation in Bookmark design:
London-based French product designer Oscar Lhermitte has created the Albatros, an ingeniously simple invention which hits the required page as soon as the book is closed.

The Albatros is made of thin polyester, and uses an adhesive which allows it to be repositioned without damaging the pages. It has yet to go into production, but Oscar Lhermitte is raising the funds for production and taking pre-orders here He has already more than doubled his target.
