Like A Kid in a Sweetshop
Heston Blumenthal’s restaurant The Fat Duck has brought some of the wildest and most wonderful creations in couture cooking to the Berkshire village of Bray. However, with the restaurant receiving up to 10,000 phone calls a day, reserving a table has inevitably become something of a hurdle and a chore.
Manchester-based creative studio The Neighbourhood have discovered a way to make the booking process at The Fat Duck as magical an experience (almost) as the devouring of the food. Their award-winning multi-sensory reservation experience opens out an extraordinary audio-visual journey for prospective diners.
In this video, the team discuss the development of the project, and present some of the lovely illustrations and animations they created.
