Working Lunch with Hato Press
Sick of scoffing down sarnies in front of your computer every lunchtime? So are the folks at Hato Press, who’ve just come up with a novel way to solve that particular problem with their new publication Studio Cookbook.
Studio Cookbook was conceived to encourage workmates to put their lunch hours to more social use, by cooking and eating together. The book is intended to be the first of a series, and the first edition contains recipes from studios including åbäke, Household, Mind Design and PraxisPlay. Designed by Ken Kirton Studio, it’s set to be launched with a lunch this Saturday afternoon at X Marks The Bökship on Cambridge Heath Road, which is open to all. On the menu, amongst other things, are Haggerston plum chutney, Hackney Wick pickled blackberries, cheese gougères and Reibekuchen potato pancakes. We’ll be first in the dinner queue.
